The Abbey Players

Founded in 1883 as an academic theatre, where students, faculty, and staff could study the art of the written word and enjoy the art of performance, The Abbey Players has presented 137 continuous seasons of entertaining, educational, and enlightening theatre. With the addition of Belmont Community Theatre in 1990, The Abbey Players maintains its commitment to welcoming local and regional actors, designers, and technicians for engaging, inspiring, and thought-provoking productions, delighting a wide range of audiences with captivating theatrical experiences.
Productions are open to all interested community members. Please join us onstage, backstage, and in the audience!
